Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SpinJacket, provided by DeCuir Ventures LLC ("SpinJacket," "we," "us"). By downloading, activating, or using SpinJacket or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

SpinJacket is software that displays album artwork and related content on screens you control. Features vary by plan. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. If you invite others (for example, a location manager) to your account, you are responsible for the access you grant them. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Plans, billing & renewals

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring annual basis through our payment provider until cancelled.
• Plans are licensed per location and cover one computer per location plus the number of screens included in the plan.
• You may change plans at any time; changes are prorated by our payment provider.
• Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable. Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period.
• If a payment fails or a plan lapses, paid features (including additional screens and remote management) may be reduced or disabled after a short grace period.

4. License to use the software

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SpinJacket for your own personal or business use, in accordance with these Terms and your plan. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the licensing or feature limits of the software.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SpinJacket to break the law, infringe others' rights, or display content you do not have the right to display. You are responsible for any images, logos, promotions, or other content you add. Commercial music playback in a venue may require appropriate music licensing from the relevant rights organizations; obtaining that licensing is your responsibility, not ours.

6. Artwork & third-party content

SpinJacket retrieves album and artist artwork from third-party sources to display what is playing. That artwork is the property of its respective owners and is shown for identification and display purposes. Some artist imagery is provided courtesy of fanart.tv.

7. Availability

We work to keep SpinJacket reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features that depend on third parties (such as streaming services, artwork sources, or payment processing) may change or become unavailable.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

SpinJacket is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeCuir Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using SpinJacket and cancel your plan at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Your settings are retained where practical so they return if you reactivate, but we are not obligated to retain data indefinitely.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
