This Privacy Policy explains what information SpinJacket ("we," "us"), a product of DeCuir Ventures LLC, collects across the SpinJacket app, the SpinJacket Screens TV app, and your SpinJacket account, and how we use it. We are built to collect as little as possible, and we never sell your information.

Information you provide

• Account information. If you create a SpinJacket account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password. If you are invited to manage a location, we store your email and the locations you are given access to.
• Support communications. If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can help you.

Information collected automatically

• License & entitlement data. When you activate a license, we record which plan is active so the app can unlock the right features.
• Screen pairing information. When you connect a screen, we store a record that the screen is linked to your account, the name you give it, and when it was last active, so the right content reaches the right screen.
• Anonymous usage data. We collect basic, anonymous technical information (such as that a screen loaded or reconnected, or an app session occurred) to keep the service reliable. This is not tied to your identity.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not store your payment card details. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Polar); we receive only the subscription status needed to manage your plan.
• We do not access your other apps, your viewing history, or your camera. The microphone, when you choose to use it as a music source, is used only to recognize what is playing and is not recorded or stored.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your information.

How we use information

We use the information above only to: provide and secure your account; activate and manage your plan; pair screens and deliver the content you choose; keep the service working and reliable; and respond to your support requests.

Service providers

We rely on trusted service providers to operate SpinJacket, including hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare), payment processing (Polar), transactional email delivery, and app distribution (including the Amazon Appstore). These providers process data only to provide their service to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data retention

We keep account and pairing information while your account and screens are active. When you remove a screen, its pairing information is deleted. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet a legal obligation.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Children

SpinJacket is a business and consumer display tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can access or update your account details when logged in, and you may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data; contact us to exercise them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
